what an amazing weekend

so on Friday i spent the evening with friends. Jelyn & I were able to do some catching up.
i love that girl. i can honestly trust her with my heart. +BiJ.

on Saturday i packed up my bags and left for Irvine.
got to hang out with Steph, Mel, and the Beejster.
got boba and did the Best Buy thing.
bought another car phone charger cause i left mine in SD. =/
my mom phones me and tells me that my cousin's debut is starting in an hour.
so i take off and make my way up to LA.

i had the directions printed out and everything.

but they had the wrong address on the invitation! =/

so i get lost. the debut was supposed to be off elysian park ave.

which goes right to dodgers stadium.

but it was way past the stadium.

luckily there were those trusty green signs pointing the way to the venue.
and thank God i saw them. and thank God I bought a car charger.

cause of that i was able to call my parents to guide them there. crazy.

so the debut was a nice one.
very simple...but it really nice.
gave her 2nd cousins from SD, including me,
the chance to know her better.
i was called up to give her a little candle speech thingy.
(i didn't know. no one knew if they were gonna be chosen for the candles&roses. different huh?)
i was nervous.
but KJ guided me. =)











spent the rest of the night with an old friend,
catching up over coffee. that was really nice.
we went to some really cool coffee shop.
the setup was nice. the art displayed was good.
even had a pool table. and this lounge area with couches.
i dug it alot. except the coffee was really strong. hahha.
after that i made my way to the hotel and got some shut eye.

sunday morning:

i met up with dino at Hollywood&Highland.
it's this shoppng center in LA. i think it's a shopping center.
i was really impressed by the design of it.
hahhaha.
im weird like that.


we walked around and did some catching up over lunch and coffee.
had a nice time. =)

so after that i left LA and went to cerritos to meet up with steph.
good catching up. =)
you are too cool steph!



then off to irvine for 6:30pm mass.
on the way there i was able to catch up with stef over the phone.
i love that girl. she's too cool. really. i mean we barely talk but i trust her and allan.
i really do. she does crack me up though. =)

so i went to 6:30pm mass and it was beautiful.
there's just something really nice about going back to a place that was your home...
and seeing the changes and reminiscing when you hear a familiar song.
and seeing faces both old and new that reveal this beautiful image of His Son.
i held back the tears. but i really do miss it. i feel called to come back and help but i know that time will come someday just not now. =/
ended the evening with sushi&friends and a long drive home.





























i love weekends spent like this one...with family, friends, catching up, and nice surprises.
