perfect timing
Last night was awesome. Everything was truly uplifting. And it came at the best time.
I had been needing something this beautiful and this touching for some time now. And I praise and thank our good Lord for this blessing. For me, everything from the prayers to the songs to the old memories that resurfaced themselves...they all culminated to the message that I received in the homily and that peace and Spirit I found within the music of the mass.
ok...i never finished that post up there. hahahaha. but it was about the UCC Rally.
that was a great event. indeed it was. i'm looking forward to next years!
hopefully there'll be a UCC Rally next year.
cause i remember us oldies had those same feelings after the UCC Rally we put on 3/4 years ago.
and then when the following year came, it didn't happen.
but something tells me that this group of leaders will make it happen.
so last night mel and i went to dinner with matt and nicole.
it was fun. good company too! great catching up with good friends.
thanks for paying for us guys!!! you REALLY didn't have too!!!
we'll all be at St. Elizabeth for their wedding in ONE WEEK and 4 hours!!!!
that is mad crazy people!!!
i found out through conversations i had with nicole that I am very passionate about two things:
1) my current jobs, working with children with autism
and
2) my desire to work as an Instructional Assistant for an ASD class in the Poway Unified School District.
but as much as i am very passionate about those...something resurfaced in me last night.
it was the idea that one day i could be a music director for a parish.
and i'm talking about those people that coordinate the music for the parish and hire out the music min to conduct for separate masses and whatnot.
there's alot of work in that position i think. but i could possibly do it one day.
i don't know. maybe it's too farfetched for someone like me.
i need to pray about it. i really do.

Hi Joyce! Dude, you can totally be a Parish Music Director. I think you have all the skills, experience, and most importantly the love for God. You have the desire and passion enough to make it happen. And one day I'll be doing the same. We can share ideas.
OK, Talk to you later. Kathy and I miss you. Oh and thanks for the B-day shout out.
i concur.
dear Joycie,
if its in ur heart, then go for it. worry about everything else later. God will show the way, my young padawan...
