and memories can last if we hold on tight enough.
I told you that that was one of my biggest fears...forgetting.
but you, you pay attention to detail.
and you capture with more then just the eyes of a camera..
you ingrain it with the eyes of your heart.

for the Lord, our God, is a just and loving God.
and He has mercy for those who love Him and are faithful.

recent events in my life have caused me to come back to the time of your passing...
i dont know why
but i miss you sooo much
i miss your smell
and the sound of your beautiful voice over a hot stove
i will always miss your cooking. no one cooks like you.
and your sweet embrace. the best hugs ever.
i miss your scolding me for running around the house and messing with my sister
i miss watching you as you were watching your favorites on TV
watching you as you slept
i love your kisses...more like you having your cheek to mine and smelling my face.
i miss you yelling at the dogs for messing with your plants
and how you would always stand outside and wait for grandpa to get off the bus from work
you always made baon for me, grandpa, and ate
you taught me LOVE and the meaning of selfsacrifice.
you carried me in your arms
you held me when i cried
you sang to me to cheer me up

and i want you to know that i love you
